History of Lighthouse To All Nations Church
Lighthouse To All Nations (LTAN) started functioning in 1983 as Living Fountain Fellowship where the gifts of the Spirit (charismata) were encouraged. In 1999, the Lord gave us a fresh mandate and the name of the church was changed to Lighthouse To All Nations. Since then, LTAN has been developed as a training centre to equip the saints for the work of the ministry in intercession, prophetic and apostolic ministry, global missions, praise & worship, spiritual warfare and gifts of the Spirit.
Our Church Vision
He is the one who gave these gifts to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ, until we come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God's Son that we will be mature and full grown in the Lord, measuring up to the full stature of Christ. Ephesians 4:11 – 13
What We Believe
This church accepts the scriptures as the revealed will of God, and adopts these statements as the fundamental truths of doctrine. This in, in fact, our Statement of Beliefs:

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and the revealed Will of God
(<em>ll Tim. 3:15; l Peter 1:23; Heb 4:12</em>)

There is one true Godhead comprised of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. All are co-equal and co-eternal (Matt. 28:19; l John 5:7). Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, is the second member of the Godhead (<em>Isa. 9:6; John 1:1, 14</em>)

Man was created in God’s image. By voluntary transgression he fell and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God (<em>Gen. 1:26-31; Rom. 5:12-21</em>)

<strong>Salvation: </strong>Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. On the cross, Jesus became sin and sickness, providing both salvation and healing for all mankind (Psalm 103:3). This salvation comes by believing in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confessing with your mouth, Jesus as Lord (<em>Rom. 3:24; 10:8-10; Eph. 2:8</em>)

<strong>Salvation: </strong>The inward evidence, to the believer, is the direct witness of the spirit (Rom. 8:16). The outward evidence to all men is a life of holiness and love (<em>l John 3:23; John 13:35</em>)

<strong>Salvation: </strong>Salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ and not by human works: however, our works are evidence of our faith and will determine our rewards in eternity (<em>Acts 16:3; Rom. 10:9-10; 10:12; ll Cor. 5:10; Eph. 28:9; Titus 3:5-7; James 2:18</em>)

Baptism in Water is a declaration to the world that a believer has died with Christ and that they have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life (<em>Matt. 28:19; Acts 10:47-48; Rom. 6:4</em>)

The celebration of the Lord’s Supper by eating of the bread and drinking the cup is a remembrance of Jesus. (<em>l Cor. 11:24-30</em>)

All believers are entitled to, and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit according to the command of Jesus Christ. With this comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry. This experience is distant from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth. (<em>Luke 24:29; Acts 1:4-8; 2:28-29; 10:44-46; 11:14-16; 15:7-9; l Cor. 12:1-3</em>)

As implied in the church's name, "Lighthouse To All Nations", we are committed to seeing the gospel preached with signs and wonders as a witness to the nations
Our Scriptural Terminology
The Anointing
The presence and work of the Holy Spirit in a person's life. "But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you…." (1 John 2:27)
To Minister
To serve, help, or bless another by the spirit of Christ. "…But our sufficiency is from God who also made us sufficient as minister of the new covenant…." (II Corinthians 3:5-6)
Revelation
The manifestation of God’s will and truths to man. "Therefore I also…making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him." (Ephesians 1:15-17)
The Glory
The manifestation of God's presence and splendour to the spiritual and physical facilities of man. "And it came to pass, when the priests came out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the Lord, so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord." (l Kings 8:10-11)
Charismatic
Comes from the Greek word charisma. The charisma of God is emphasized when the graces of God are manifest. The graces of God include love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. These qualities are know as the fruits of the Spirit. (Galatians 5:22-23)
Slain Under The Power (Slain In The Spirit)
While being ministered to in the presence of God through the Holy Spirit, a person may fall to the floor as the power of God fills and surrounds him with great force. (Acts 9:4)
